Rodney Bay fire – man charged with arson

Charges, including arson, have been laid in the devastating Rodney Bay fire of January 26, 2016.

According to information obtained by the Times, Maintenance Worker Peter Marius, 40, has been charged with four other offences arising from the fire.

The early morning blaze in the Rodney Bay area destroyed and damaged several business places.

They included the popular Q-bar owned by Housing Minister, Stanley Felix.

Sources indicate that the value of the buildings that were destroyed is estimated at more than two million dollars.
