Veteran sportscaster Brian Mc Donald has died.
Organizers of a verteran football tournament in Soufriere at which Mc Donald was in attendance told the Times he collapsed at about noon today.
According to the organizers, Mc Donald was rushed to the Soufriere Hospital where he later succummed.
He is suspected to have died from a heart attack.
One of the organizers, David “Shakes” Christopher, has expressed shock at the sudden death of the sportscaster.
Christopher said that he is currently taking medication because of the effect that McDonald’s death had on him.
According to Mc Donald’s Facebook profile, the sportscaster was born on June 14, 1972. Based on this information, Mc Donald was 43 when he died.
