Drug bust at Mabouya Valley

A drug bust by the Police at Mabouya Valley in the late hours of Saturday night, January 16, 2016, resulted in the seizure of seven blocks of suspected cocaine.

According to reports, the substance was found when the Police Drug Squad raided a house in the community.

In addition to the suspected cocaine, a pistol with thirteen rounds of live ammunition was also discovered, it is reported.

Four young people, two males and two females all reportedly in their twenties, were said to be in the house at the time of the Police operation.

One of the men is reported to have been arrested.

The Times was informed that the Police raid occurred after 11:PM on Saturday night.
