Gros Islet fire leaves two homeless
A fire in the town of Gros Islet yesterday evening left two persons homeless.
According to reports, the fire broke out shortly before 6:PM in a wooden house on Marie Therese Street.
The Gros Islet Fire station responded with two fire trucks and one ambulance.
However it is reported that despite the efforts of the response crew, the building, measuring about 25 feet by 20 feet was partially destroyed.
No one was injured.
The cause of the blaze is currently under investigation.
